Au collège de Clerval, près d'Orléans, Eric Capadis, jeune professeur d'histoire géographie, vient de se suicider en se jetant par la fenêtre de sa classe. Il est aussitôt remplacé par Pierre Hoffman. Dès qu'il se rend dans sa nouvelle classe composée d'élèves surdoués, il ne tarde pas à y déceler des comportements étranges. Il leur demande comment ils envisagent leur avenir. Il est abasourdi par le nihilisme de leurs réponses. Anormalement disciplinés, soudés, légèrement apathiques, ces préadolescents dégagent une hostilité indéfinissable, une violence sourde. Pierre Hoffman est bientôt la cible d'appels téléphoniques anonymes...

I'm skeptical of the storyline, but otherwise it looks to have potential. I've been a fan since the early 90's and still have all his appearances up until he got his own series. People have always dismissed him as a throwaway character but I think he's one of the best examples of a righteous pack of vengeance."
